All the technical details for the new generation of “inflated” version of the sedan Mercedes-Benz E-Class, developed by division AMG, were reported indoor event of the production company. Details of the car came a few hours later in Forum German Car4um. It makes certain that the machine will be available in two versions – Mercedes-AMG E 63 and Mercedes-AMG E 63 S. Both are equipped with 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine combined with a 9-speed automatic box.
A weaker variant develops an output of 571 horsepower, which is enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The more powerful – with added S to its name, offers 612 hp and will lift 100 km/h from place 3.5 seconds. Both modifications average fuel consumption is 8.6 l / 100 km, according to the production company. For comparison, the current Mercedes-AMG E 63 requires 10.3 l / 100 km. It is equipped with 5.5-liter V8 in two versions of power – 575 hp and 585 hp.
The new version of supersedana both versions will be equipped as standard with air suspension Air Body Control system and four-wheel drive.
